There is a famous tale about Yu Gong (literally meaning stupid old man) moving the mountains in China. Legend goes that two big mountains block the way of Yugong house to the outside world. Yu Gong decided to move the mountains away by hand, despite laughs from his neighbors. However, his persistence moved God who helped him to move the mountains.
